Frequently asked questions
- Do you have a minimum order?
Minimum order of 12 units per flavour.
- How do I place an order?
You can direct message us or via order our website.
- Do you deliver?
Yes, we deliver our cupcakes and cakes in and around Adelaide. $10 within 10 kms for Blackwood/Belair. Further than this please contact us.
- What payment options do you accept?
We accept direct deposit.
- What should I do if I have an allergy?
We take food allergies very seriously. We have strict protocols to ensure cross contamination does not occur during every stage of our baking process as well as how we store the ingredients. However, we do bake in the same space. Therefore, we do ask those who have severe allergic reactions to avoid or take caution when consuming our baked goods. When ordering, please ensure you inform us of any allergies or if you would like us to pack certain flavours separately. We are always happy to accommodate.
- If I’m collecting/doing pick up how do I best transport my cakes/cupcakes?
- Precooling – we’re in Adelaide it gets hot! Pre-cool your car!
- Positioning – if your car is cool enough I recommend the boot (making sure it is cool enough). If not a second spot is the passenger side floor. Push your front seat all the way back.
- Placement- the aim is to keep the box flat and also for the box NOT to move. Add some non slip shelf liner (the rubber stuff that’s in a grid pattern) on the floor and set the cake on that. A yoga mat will work too! I also add a fluffy towel between the floor and the non-slip liner, then I add the cupcake box on top of that. I also use another towel to place around the box so if it did slip it wouldn’t go far.
- Preparation – Most cupcake boxes you hold from edges not the centre (as it lifts and distorts the box and baked goods tend to move if this happens). Cake boxes are slightly different, you hold with a hand underneath (centred) and a hand on the side (to keep it stable).
- Don’t be tempted to: run other errands just go straight home or to the venue! You have precious cargo!
- Please don’t set a cake on your seats. Even if your back seats fold down, you might be tempted to set your cakes on them. You don’t want to do that. Most likely they don’t lay flat. The same goes for the front seat or on a passengers knees. Seats aren’t level and if you have to slam on your breaks, well, then your dashboard is going to be covered in buttercream. The aim here is to keep the box flat.
